Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information PACSAL collects when you visit pacsal.dev or contact us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

  1. 01Who we are

    PACSAL (Programming, Advanced Cyber-Security & Automation Lab) is a software, cyber-security, and automation company based in Pakistan. For anything in this policy, email hello@pacsal.dev.

  2. 02What we collect

    • When you email us: your name, email address, and whatever you choose to write, including any files you attach.
    • When you use our project enquiry or free website check form: the answers you give, such as your name, email, company, website address, and project details.
    • When you leave a review: your name, role, company, email, the review itself, and a photo if you choose to email one.
    • When you send any form: a one-way, salted hash of your IP address, used only to limit repeated submissions. The IP address itself is not stored.
    • When you browse the site: anonymous, aggregated usage data (pages viewed, referring site, country, device type) and page-speed measurements. This data is not used to identify you.

  3. 03Cookies and analytics

    This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which measure visits and page performance without cookies and without following you across other websites.

  4. 04How we use it

    We use what you share only for the purposes below. We never sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.

    • To reply to your message and prepare a proposal.
    • To plan and deliver work you have agreed with us.
    • To publish your review, only with your permission. Your name, role, company, and photo may appear on the site; your email address is never published.
    • To understand which pages are useful and keep the site fast.

  5. 05Services that process data for us

    We use a small number of providers to run the site and handle messages. Each handles data under its own privacy terms:

    • Vercel: hosts this website and provides the analytics described above.
    • Zoho Mail: hosts our email.
    • Cloudflare: runs our forms, checks each submission for spam with Turnstile, and stores a copy of what you send.
    • Resend: delivers form submissions to our inbox.

  6. 06Security testing engagements

    Information we receive during a security testing engagement, such as system access, findings, and reports, is handled under the written agreement for that engagement, not under this website policy. We only test systems we have written authorisation to test.

  7. 07How long we keep it

    Form submissions are deleted from our form system automatically after 12 months. Enquiries in our inbox are kept for as long as we need them to respond and for normal business records. Published reviews stay on the site until you ask us to remove them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

  8. 08Your choices and rights

    You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to remove your review, by emailing hello@pacsal.dev. We reply within one business day. If you are in the UK or the EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

  9. 09Changes to this policy

    If the way we handle information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
